Session #7 :
Characters Present: Ecstasy, Lust, Miewyn, Sin.

Note from GM: Bloodlust and Light are not present during this session. Light will continue to stake out the hideout previously pointed out by a mercenary. Bloodlust got a meeting with Departement of Psychology after the massacre at the orphanage and after the trauma of being nearly killed. Unfortunately, the player of Morgan Masterson is moving away, so he will not play his character anytime soon. He have agreed to allow me, the GM, to take control ower his character and use him as an NPC. :twisted:

Feast for the Flies:
At 4PM, Miewyn exited the large, public elivator, streching through the five sublevels of SWSuburbia Sector 369. The sector was darker, dirtier, more run down and damaged than any other of the sublevels in the sector. Light from above were scarce, and small streams of rainwater were pouring down like dirty pillars of rainwater from the sublevel above. Filth, dirt, garbage and rust covered most sidewalks and allys. Very little light were working in the level, as four powerstations in the area were shut down, draping most of the sublevel in an uninviting darkness. The wraith raider walked gracefully through the littered streets towards the capsule hotel to meet the rest of her squad. :gokf:

As Miewyn entered the hotel, Masterson drove off on his motorcycle with the delivery service man, previously interrogated. The courtyard were littered with remains of a dozen dead carriens. With Sin breaking off half of their skulls, flaying them and attaching them to a steel-wire in his belt, the scene was a bloody mess. Lust kicked away one of the severed heads, still furious about a carrien destroying her leather jacket in the battle. Greeting Miewyn warmly, the group informed her about their progress, and took another sweep at the hotel room where Ecstasy formerly met the carrien operating a switchboard. :wtf:

The group walked over to the closest shiver station, a fortified bunker-like building. Entering through the basement level, they dropped of an assault shotgun, a dozen carrien half-skulls, made the techicians tap a cellphone, and sendt a laptop and a footlocker they couldn't hack or crack open. Socializing with the shivers, Sin talked to the one in charge of bounty (carriens/canibals/etc.) collection, and bought a schematic for a Shotgun Trap (see CS1). The Ultra Marines retired to the sloppy cafeteria at the station. As the standard for food was awful, only Lust stayed for some dinner. The rest of the squad traveled up a sublevel to eat at Steakman's Meathouse. Lust "befriended" a shiver jarhead, and were given a private "workout session" at the stations training facility. Needless to say, when the squad regrouped at about 6PM, everyone were satisfied. :woaw:

The Price of Administration:
The squad traveled to sublevel 5. To their surprise, several streets in the area were litt up with cheap neon lights, all streets leading toward the center. A huge, glowing orb, were shining like a beacon of gold on top of a huge gambling hall. The operatives decided to check out the local shiver departement for more information. The shiver station was buildt inside a former five story hotel. Well kept, and without graffiti, the building was a presentable one among the cheap stores and apartment complexes nearby. :cool:

The interior of the station was also just as impressive, as brass lamps litt up the foyer, covered in crimson carpet, and burnished, wood-like walls. As Lust asked the receptionist about information on the sublevel. Arranging a meeting with an officer with such information could only be arranged for "Just a small administration fee". Paying a few unis, the two agents met an officer in a meeting room. After an interview, it was obvious that the shivers were corrupt. Earning much income due to hundreds of ridiculous administration fees concerning any involvement with the shivers. :cop:

This obvious corruption, hidden in several layers of bureaucracy, bothered Lust to no end. She requested some print out of a few files and a tour around the station, costing her more administrative fees, inspecting everyting with her sharp eyes. She spotted a shiver passing by, carrying a FEN603, and made a big fuss about the matter. The station arrested the shiver and his family for carrying the illegal firearm, on the possibility of beeing connected with terrorists. The rest of the squad didn't want to make such a fuss about the corrupted station, even though it seemd like a few rich civilians actually rented rooms every now and then. Lust and Miewyn also interrogated a civilian, renting one of these rooms, enjoying it with two strippers. In the interrogation, he informed them that a man called Don Gizmo, was the owner of the Golden Globe casino in the sublevel senter. :v

A Pearl in a pile of Trash:
They agreed to split up in two teams to search sublevel 3 and 5 for more information about the local gangs in the sector. Ecstasy and Sin teamed up to seach sublevel 3. The area filled with industrial facilities; some abandoned and some in production of civilian products and goods. Miewyn and Lust headed for the Golden Globe casino, using disguises. Shining with light, and surrounded with several spotlights casting light on advertisement set in the sublevel 5 roof / sublevel 4 bottom. This was clearly a popular den for gambling. Several Golden Globe employees were handing out flyers for free drinks and games to anyone with a few unis to throw away. :danse:

Huge halls covered poker tables, slot machines, card games, pachinko-machines and many other games of chance. Miewyn checked out the security of the casino, spotting several suit-dressed guards with earpieces, bulletproof vests and packing hanguns. They were stationed at several backdoor entrances, which only VIPs and special guests were allowed entrance. Lust spoke to one of the bartenders, a staightforward fellow, and told him she might be interested in some work. With her pretty face and playful nature, the bartender agreed to check into it. He also told him that he didn't know much about Don Gizmo's businesses apart from gambling, but much business were done in the backrooms. :cthulhu:

Flea On The Wall:
A few days ago, Miewyn had searched sublevel 3 for traces leading to the Gutter Runners, the gang of hobos hiding in the sewers. Considering the damage it would cause in the sublevel if she flooded the sewertunnels to exterminate the gang, she deviced another plan. Buying some civilian cameras, placing them in various areas in the sewer to monitor any gang activity there. She found an abandoned and ransacked filmstore, and rigged the monitors. After some surveillance she left the area to quit the squad, and left the cameras and monitors. She informed Sin and Ecstasy about the location of her equipment, which they easily found via their nava map. :...:

Sin took a seat in the backroom where all the monitored were placed, and threw his feet on the table. Checking out the craftsmanship of his custom-made steel mask. Made of industrial steel, with rust marks under the eyeslits resembling tears. He had easily attached an old airfilter mask to it, giving it a grim look. It suited his undercover prop name, "Weeping Death". Ecstasy asked around the local population about the Gutter Runners while Sin watched the monitores. Luckily, something happened on one of the twelve cameras previously rigged by Miewyn. A tall, ragged, average built hobo with a leashed carnivorus pig, had triggered one of the motion activated cameras. His right arm, abnormally long and muscular, were thick like a garbage bin, and reached all the way to the ground and more. Four old, filthy, women came after, carrying a litter made of some light garbage. Sin immediately informed his squad about the activity, and ran off to the closest manhole to the location. :yarr:

An Explosive Birth:
Sin was first on the scene. Standing in a foot of slippery sewage, he was hiding close to the ragged group of hobos. After observing the large pig and mutant hobo, he wisely called for backup. Approaching them, the mutant grunted on on him, but didn't immediately turn hostile. The pig growled. Sin could hear the old women in the background, chanting in badly spoken static, while prostrating around a naked woman which had emerged from the litter. Unsure about how much damage the mutant could cause with his mutated right arm, Sin decided to withdraw and wait for backup. It looked like the dirty, naked woman were to give birth soon, lying in a heap of rags and trash with her legs spread. Also, she had three large, noticable scars across her stomach. They were all on elevated platform, untouched by the river of sewage running closeby. Ecstasy, Lust and Miewyn came after a while. :ninja:

As the woman started screaming out, getting close to delivery, the scout snuck around to approach the opposite tunnel from the hobos. She used her scouthelmet to spy around the corner with an AV-stalk, and saw something monstrous starting to emerge from the womans stomach being opened like a coocoon. The grey, tiny monster, were sprouting tentacles like a squid, surrounded by floating drops of blood. As a truly disturbing sight, the squad decided to attack. Miewyn didn't hesitate to silently send a 70mm vibro disc straight through the carnivorus pigs scull, instantly dropping the 350kg beast. The upset mutant ran over to his dead companion, easily throwing it at the operatives, but missing. Being shot at, he flinged himself toward Lust at an alarming speed, using the mutant arm. Just before landing a mighty haymaker to the brain wasters neck, he gott dropped by a rifle shot by Ecstasy, and a 17mm HESH Farjacket by Sin - resulting in the mutants torso being blown to pieces. Uneasy about the group of women as the monster was emerging and starting to reach out psychicly to the squad, Sin threw in a pinapple DN grenade found on the greater carrion at the capsul hotel. In a cloud of smoke, blood and debris, all women on the platform had been killed. Looking through the smoke, Lust spotted extreme heat on the ground, using her IR vision. Sin also detected the presence of flux being used on the platform. :fuckoff:

A glowing hole, about a foot wide, had been melted several meters down into the ground - all the way to the second layer of sewage. Warm smoke startet streaming upward, and the agents did not take any chances. They knew the Gutter Runners had a reputation about using biological or chemical attacks on different occasions, so they withdrew to the surface as soon as possible. As none of the operatives had an air sampler, Sin jumped on his bike to buy one at the nearest shiver station. Taking a big risk, Lust activated the independent air supply in the scout helmet, and whent down into the smoke. She had a hard time navigating in the blinding smoke, as the heat confused her IR vision. :eek:

Tight Grasp:
She finally got access to the lower level of the sewage. It seemed like a vast amount of thesewage water had mysteriously evaporated as she got closer to the area where the hole had melted through the upper floor of the sewage. Directly under the melted hole in the sewage roof, something grey were lying on the ground. The one foot long creature looked like a cross between a squid, plant and a human baby. It had no legs, only a group of squidlike tentacles. It had a small sett of baby arms, and a head, with bright, blue eyes. Parts of it's face was covered in leafs made of skin, almost like a plant. Grey and moist, it seemed harmless, but Lust called her squad to join her before touching it. :wtf:

Sin came back to the group fast, and used his new air sampler on the smoke, which were nothing but sewage-steam - nasty business if exposed to open wounds or inhaled without an air filter. They quickly met up with the scout. The fearless wraith raider picked up the child-like thing. It seemed happy, almost like a laughing child. Shortly after being picked up, it starting wrapping it's tentacles around Miewyns arm, which she didn't feel comfortable with. She gave the thing away to Sin. Happy with it's new caretaker, the tentacles grasped tightly around the brain wasters arm. It seemed, somehow, to slide it's tentacles straight through his heavy deathsuit, but didn't show any other sign of agression. When Lust tried to take it off, it seemed reluctant, starting to heat up, immolating itself in a torchlike fire. As Sin formulated to make the creature colder, it seemed very pleased - withdrawing it's arms and head into the rest of it's body, going into some sort of hibernation. XD

Sin felt a calmness surging through his mind and body as the thing had settled on his arm. For perhaps the first time in his life, a warm stream of positive human emotions filled him (temporarily suppressing 3 ranks in his Psychosis[Sociopath] and giving him a +3 Cool). As the whole squad were puzzed about this event, they returned toward the surface. Keeping a keen eye on Sin and his... arm-thing, they called the Department of Ebb about the situation. They got instucted to return to the surface and wait for someone to pick up the "thing". :bloblo:

Perfection:
As the squad surfaced, they heard a deep rumble closeby. A tall figure had appeared in the middle of the street, about a block away. As the figure came toward the squad, every vermin and bug in the area, crawled out of their hidingplaces, and fleed from the being. Rain, filth, dirt and stains evaporated, peeling or moved away from the approaching creature, as if pushed by an unseen force. It was a tall woman, wearing a black dress reaching the ground, trailing behind her like a shadowy veil or voidlike darkness. Her skin was pearl-white, and she was blind. Her own skin covered her eye-sockets in a disturbing fashion. With crimson lips, all her features were perfectly made. Ecstasy, Sin and Lust were brought to their knees in awe of her mere presence. Everything about her were perfect, for she was the necanthrope Perfection, and her voice reached into their minds as she informed them that she was sendt to collect the child. After recieving the "thing", it instantly withered, and the necanthrope folded away with it's remains. :flashfact:

The squad returned back to their home, finishing their daily reports to Candice. Lust had used the recorder in her scout helmet while in the sewer. At about midnight, everyone had retired for the night. Masterson had not returned yet. Miewyn slept tight, dreaming about the calm feeling she felt when holding the small creature in her arms. Ecstasy could still feel the presence of Perfection, who was a true manifestation of what himself was trying to become. Lust could barely sleep with the experience of the most exciting day of her life. Sin Spades tucked himself tightly as he went to sleep. Unknowing to himself as he turned around in his bed, a small tentacle fragment crawled out from under the brain wasters deathsuit, and buried itself somewhere on his body... :ssh:

Note from GM: First off, the small creature is completely homebrew and I will not reveal too much about it right now, as my players may read this thread. For now - what you've read is what you know. Also, for pestering the shivers in sublevel 5, Lust will get Minor Enemy Rank 1 (SWS369 SL5 Shivers), as they will make any request an administrative hell, if they are somehow involved. For witnessing the creature in the sewer, they will all get Bad Info Rank 2, along with a 250credits (per Op) monetary bonus for retrieving it for Department of Ebb.

Forresten, bare sånn det er nevt - Den blueprinten dere jobber med nå er laget slik at man kan jobbe ganske lenge med den, selv om det bare er en session eller to til der har kartlagt det aller meste av gjengmiljøet i sektoren. Men om dere føler at det begynner å bli kjedelig og ønsker noe nytt å jobbe med, så kan dere når som helst ringe Candice for å si dere ferdig med BPNen. ;)

Det er mye dere kan gjøre på eget initiativ i sektoren, men om dere føler dere ikke får særlig progressjon lenger, så bare bytt blueprint eller søk etter hunter sheets. ^^

Værste jeg vet er spillere som kjeder seg. X(

"Blue rain", huh? Er ikke akkurat "Purple Rain", men kunne være verre. Kunne være "Blue Waffle". Det sagt synes jeg at å ta navnet "Blue Rain" fordi det alltid regner og kampanjen heter All Blue blir litt meta, men hey! Jeg er jo ikke en gang del av gruppe, ei heller spiller jeg SLA, så hvem er jeg som kommer her og uttrykker meg om hvilke navn andre folk velger?

To ting dere kan ta i betraktning er at Masterson ikke er tilgjengelig til å stemme nå som han er kidnappet (da dette egentlig er en in-game avstemning) og Dariok sin rolle ikke er annsatt i SLA Industries lenger. Da har vi flest stemmer på "Syndicate" så vidt jeg kan se.

Characters Present:
Ecstasy, Jeff, Lust, Sin.

Note from GM: Bloodlust, Miewyn and Light are not present during this session. Light will continue to stakeout the hideout previously pointed out by a mercenary. Bloodlust is still in a meeting with Department of Psychology like last session. A new player is going to join us as Masterson's player previously moved. The new character, Josef Chambers, called Jeff by friends, wanted his character to play a civilian - a former employee at 3hird Eye News. He based his character build on a regular OP-build with Media training packadge from the Karma Sourcebook. SPOILER WARNING- This post includes GM-only info from Hunter Sheet - Part 1 -> Mama Krutch. I will therefore mark that specific part with spoiler alert.

Introduction to a new member:
Josef Chamber is his name. Medium height and athletic build, the human is currently working as a freelance reporter, hired by 3hird Eye News. With fuzzy, black hair and a broken nose, the twentyfour-year old man is always wearing a charming smile. Normally protected by a black Padquil with "PRESS" clearly marked in grey gaffer tape. Jeff prefers wearing caps, pilot googles and baggy clothing in olive-green, brown or black color. A quick search through an SLA info-database will reveal the following about Josef Chambers: He was born and raised in a bad neighbourhood in the suburbs. Formerly charged for vandalism, resisting arrest and petty theft in his youth (14-17 years). After high school, he received a scholarship when continuing his studies of investigative journalism at Alan Marsh Institute of Journalism. After his degree, he worked at 3hird Eye News for three years, working exclusively with investigative journalism under the editor Ted Christopher. Pictures and quotes reveal a friendly relationship between the two. Josef worked with several articles. The highlight of his career was a documentary about how organized crime cooperate with local shivers and trade with what seemed on the outside as one of suburbias most successfull sectors. A sector with high productivity and low criminal numbers. Josef's career got strained after the publication. A case was opened to scrutinize his sources. He was removed from investigative journalism, and he got stationed temporarily as a cameraman at the "Doobrie Show" (Like The Muppet Show, just with doobries instead of muppets). He was credited as third cameraman in one episode before his resignation. Now he works as a civilian going freelance, covering "Project: All Blue", for the editors he previously worked with.

A Burning Dream:
Sin could feel his body confined in a tight fitting membrane, floating in burning liquid. As he struggled to get loose, the membrane tightened, restraining him further. His body felt weak and frail, almost lame. The warmth grew worse and he started feeling paranoid. Struggling for what seemed like hours with his powerless body, he finally managed to claw through the membrane. As the hole opened, liquid fire came pouring inn. His body started melting, and he were too fatigued to scream. A flow of burning energy, streamed through his right eye. Intense pain overwhelmed the brainwaster, burning him from within. As he twitched with agony, Sin awoke from his nightmare. With beads of sweat dripping from his forehead, he was sitting in his bed at the collective. He was safe. As the pleasant doorbell of his room called again and he found himself having trouble recalling the dream as it slowly slipped away. But the change had already begun, and as the headache started, he knew there was power to harvest from this burning dream...

08:40 in the morning, George showed Jeff his new civilian apartment across the street from the Project: All Blue collective in SWS 369. The living quarter was as could be expected - cheap and run down, no fridge and frequent power-fluctuations every now and then. Jeff threw his bag on the sofa as most of the floor were covered in crates with his personal effects and furniture, moved earlier this week after losing his uptown apartment after his resignation. George offered to introduce him to The Ultra Marines, which he gladly accepted. Hurrying through the heavy rainfall crossing the street, the two figures entered the complex using George's employee card. Jennifer, Masterson daughter, were just leaving her father's room to enter the basement training complex. George tried to reach each operative, but only Sin and Ecstasy opened the door to greet George and Jeff. Jeff asked them a bit about their motivation as operatives and were informed about their progress in the sector in the meeting room upstairs. While planning their next approach on the sector, Lust woke up and joined the group.

The squad evaluated the threat of all the local gangs and soft companies in the sector, then they decided to continue checking out the sewer in sub-level 3. Lust called a departmental contact to requisition a prototype weapon for a few hours. The squad drove to the sub-level elevator using their SLA cars and bikes. Arrival to the sector, the drivers quickly parked their vehicles at the local shiver station. Ecstasy and Sin teamed up, follower by George, traveling toward the area where they previously fought some mutants and hobo-witches. Jeff joined Lust at the movie store, where monitors connected to twelve cameras in the sewers, were connected. Three cameras were receiving static feedback, including the one where they previously had an encounter. While being interviewed by Jeff, Lust's attention suddenly fell on one of the cameras showing a masked hobo looking around. As the figure found the hidden camera, he proceeded to disable it, cutting off the connection to the monitors. Lust immediately informed the operatives crawling around in the sewer about the hobo, which rushed as fast as possible toward the location.

A Mutual Enemy:
Using Al's Taxi service, Sin and Ecstasy quickly arrived at the location. Crawling through sewage, using their UV-googles to navigate, they arrived to a maintenance control station. Drawing their weapon, they proceeded carefully. Entering the area, Ecstasy started searching for the camera, guided by Lust's instruction where she thought it had been hidden. As Sin snuck past a door, entering a sleeping quarter, the brainwaster scanned the room carefully. Even though the area was shrouded in darkness, his keen sight spotted a drop of water falling from above. He could feel that someone was hanging in the roof pipes above him. Keeping his cool, knowing a sudden move could make the situation much worse, he spoke in a calm voice, trying to disarm the situation.

The hobo above him, were calmly pointing a huge revolver at Sin. Moaning in response to Sin, the hobo calmly lowered himself and proved not to be offencive toward the operatives. It was clear that he could not speak, as his jaw seemed to have mutated and had been locked in place. The hobo seemed angry when the operatives mentioned the Gutter Runners, and seemed willing to show them their hideout for payment in form of some ammunition. The brainwaster found a few clips with 10mm std pistol ammo to pay the hobo. Satisfied with the merchandise, he started to guide the operatives through the sewer tunnels. Using his keen sense of smell and navigation, he skillfully guided the three people safely past a few hazards, advancing closer to the city center.

As the group got deeper and deeper through the sewer tunnels, they entered a large tunnel. The ground was covered in dry sewage waste, leaving large and dry flakes and dust. It was unexpectedly dry in this area of the sewer. Some barrels, crates and other garbage littered the tunnel floor. The hobo stepped careful through the debris, disarming a few crude traps, including a DN mine-trap, pit-trap, punji-sticks and an arrow-trap. After guiding the group through a safe path, they noticed a broken hole in the roof. It was clearly leading up through the tunnel and into a shadowy building. The hobo pointed toward the hole and nodded when the ops asked him if this was the Gutter Runners hideout.

The Faceless:
Sin and Ecstasy called Lust about their current whereabouts. A quick look at a nava-map, indicated that they were right under a building called St. Mary's Hospital in the center of the sub-level. Lust and Jeff rushed toward the location so both groups could check the place out simultaneously. Waiting for Lust to arrive at the hospital from the surface, Sin took a seat and tried to remember his Burning Dream. Ecstasy saw the brainwaster's right eye burn with an orange glow. He couldn't explain the ebb-like effect coming from his squad mate, who told him he was trying to remember a dream. As the glow fainted away, Sin fired his grappling hook up through the hole. The two operatives had no problem climbing the rope, and proceeded with helping George up - being by far the least athletic of them all.

They entered a dark storage area with a few untidy shelves, crates, boxes, a staircase and an elevator. George activated his Ronker Roller lamp, illuminating the area. The smell of death and decay were present, clinging stronger toward a metal door in the far end of the storage. Sneaking passed the metal door, they entered a large morgue. Two opposing walls were lined with capsules for storing corpses, many of them opened and with their slaps stretched open. Several metal tables where placed around the room. Many of them carried filled body-bags. The stink of death reeked in the room. At an elevated platform, surrounded by four pillars, there was a big operating bench and large lamp on display. The brainwaster opened one of the body-bags carefully, and saw a rotten corpse inside. It moved slightly, almost like twitching. He didn't take any chances, and formulated a stream of fire to burn the body. As the body-bag started melting and the corpse started burning, the chest broke open as a swarm of burning flies came rushing out. No flies survived, with only a few stragglers glowing like embers a few feet away from the corpse before turning to ash.

Turning from the burned corpse, Ecstasy eyes fell on a large double door in the room. Letters on the wall indicated he had found the cremation chamber. Wiping some dirt from the windows in the doors, they spotted several humanoids in the next room. About 15-20 women, wearing straight-jackets, stood like frozen in different positions. None talked or moved and at first it seemed like they wore some kind of strange crown-shaped face masks. But the operatives soon noticed they were wrong. The women had no mask, and no face either. Their mouths were like a regular females, but they had no eyes or nose. The flesh faceless heads stretched above their skulls, forming crowns. As George peed his pants from the disturbing sight, Sin and Ecstasy discussed killing the restrained women. The brainwaster's keen hearing picked up the sound of someone approaching from the storage.

Unfriendly Greeting:
As Ecstasy dragged George behind a pillar, he made sure his camera-spotlight were turned off. Sin hid behind a second pillar. With their IR googles, they spotted a man dressed as a doctor entering the morgue. The doctor was well-groomed, wore a pair of glasses, a white doctor's coat, spotted with some old blood, and a set of operating gloves. Guided by a flashlight, the doctor was surprised when the two operatives pointed guns at him. Talking to the doctor, they soon learned that he was calm and arrogant, and threats were thrown by both parties. The operatives learned that the women in the next room were to be sold to skintrade in sub-level 5. The doctor even gave them a name to check out - Gizmo. Ending with the doctor leaving unharmed, the two operatives smacked some sense in George and escaped through back into the sewer.

Lust and Jeff entered the St. Mary's Hospital parking lot. Abandoned cars and garbage littered the area as if there had been a breakout of some sort in the area, years ago. Jeff felt safer now that he had gotten his Padquil vest and his Dante camera on his shoulder. They advanced to the main entrance that obviously had been reinforced to keep people away. Lust activated her motion scanner, revealing several sources of movement inside the building. The doors opened, and a dirty hobo walked toward them. With rags covering his body, and a snakelike vein along his neck, the man dragged a heavy lead pipe with him. Lust approached him and spoke to him in a non-threatening manner. The man seemed reluctant at first, but agreed to whisper something important to the brainwaster...

As Lust listened closely to the man, his tongue suddenly shot out of his mouth and bit her in the ear, trying to force itself into her head. Throwing the tongue-like snake to the ground and stepping on it, she angrily drew her oriental katana. After throwing the hobo to the ground, she put the blade to his throat. The mad hobo struggled getting free, cutting his neck deeply. A swarm of flies started pouring out of his wound, surrounding Lust. Panicking in the swarm, feeling the sting as several flies begun digging themselves under her skin, Jeff threw a riot gas grenade at the operative. The flies quickly dispersed, killing most of them. Pissed at her friendly approach (formerly requested by Ecstasy), Lust and Jeff hasted to the closest shiver station to remove some of the flies already under her skin.

Keeping it Together:
Jeff had eased his cravings for Flipp by smoking the calming drug. This had helped his nerves as they met the hobo with the snake-like tongue and the swarm of flies emerging from his body afterwards. Lust was smoking Feelgood, angry about the situation. As a doctor at the station cut out the flies, Lust interviewed him about the insects. He recognized the species as a type of cannibal sector insect. They often infested corpses, living in the body for warmth and protection. Anything disturbing them can stir up a hive, swarming the aggressor and entering its body. A swarm of these carnivorous flies can strip a adult body in about thirty minutes, leaving only the skeleton.

George was still in shock, mumbling about the monsters in the furnace room at the hospital. He calmed down after a while. Sin and Ecstasy seemed almost unaffected by their discoveries, but were eager to plan the Gutter Runners destruction. As the three operatives met in their home for debriefing and planning their next approach, Jeff was following a lead on sub-level 2, at Elms Street. He was interested in Mama Krutch and her connection to the drug Shatter. Jeff met a young prop named Soul Stealer, still one of the Mama's Boys. Purchasing his service for a 100 unis, he got some information about someone called Spines - a former Mama's Boy, now a feared prop. Paying another 100 unis to be guided to Spines in Downtown, the prop gladly guided the freelance reporter to Butchers Street.

Entering a large, run down storage in a bad neighbourhood, Soul Stealer introduced Jeff to his bigger brother, Spines. The man was tall, broad-shouldered and intimidating. With scruffy beard and six eyes, Spines wore a heavy leather coat and heavy industrial boots. Strong as a greater carrien, he lifted the reporter with one hand by the throat, letting him know how easily he could snap his neck. As Jeff wasn't part of SLA Industries, Spines accepted to give him an interview at his office. Throwing off his heavy coat, Spines showed the reporter his brutal mutation. In several places, patches of bone or chitin had grown through his skin and reinforced his bony joints. He told Jeff about Krutch saving him as a little kid, blessing him with a milk that healed his bones - mutating him in the long run. Spines showed him some of this "milk" which actually were shatter, and told him that there were different kinds - Flesh Shatter, Bone Shatter, Arachno Shatter and more. Each victim would be blessed with different mutations. Happy with his interview and returning in one piece, he got another valuable lead to give to the operatives after returning through the sewer - guided by Soul Stealer.

Disturbing News:
New information indicated that Mama Krutch was sending a group of boys to the sector to hurt the squad. The boys were to kill at least one civilian every night as long as the Ultra Marines still were in the sector. Stringing victims up somewhere public after being killed or tortured, stirring unrest among the civilians. Lust collected her requisited weapon at her local shiver station. The weapon were to be returned within 24 hours, and was actually based on a FEN Gunhead smg. Shaped like a suitcase, attached instructions showed how to "build" the suitcase into the smg. It could also be activated and thrown on a flat surface, attaching itself using memory plastic technology. It would then open like a laptop, revealing a smg and a camera. A program installed to a scout helmet will allow the user video-feed from the laptop, with the option to remotely aim and fire the weapon from up to a mile distance. Lust's contact wanted feedback about how well the prototype weapon work in the field.

Jeff gave them an address where he heard the Mama's Boys were going to operate from, and the operatives moved out after buying some equipment for the assault. With George following them, hopeful to catch some prime footage, the traveled to sub-level 1. The area was dirty as before. Oily rain was even thicker here than any of the other sub-levels. Fabrics stretched as far as could be seen. Pillars of flame scorched the air from some of the industrial towers. Every now and then, huge speakers informed the different groups of industrial workers to begin and end their shifts. Groups of people in protection suits marched together between the huge complexes. Following the address given to them by Jeff, the group came to an old melt works, temporarily out of service.

Lust entered the sewer alone, approaching unseen. She positioned herself right under the melt works. A half opened manhole above her, revealed light and a pair of voices. The two guards upstairs talked about The Freak having some fun with a girl while Mama watched. They didn't seem to bright by their conversation. The brainwaster held her position, talking in whisper mode through her communicator. Jeff climbed a large construction crane nearby. Getting a good view through the skylights and over the area, he spotted two armed guards patrolling the roof, and saw several guards inside. He also spotted one guard in each of the passages leading to nearby buildings on each side. The human held his position. Close to the meltwork, there was a small storage building. Sin camped on the roof with Ecstasy and George, also spotting a guard by the main entrance to the melt works.

The Assault:
Planning their approach carefully, Ecstasy steadied his rifle using the bi-pod. He trained his scope on the head of a roof guard. The silencer and flash suppressor would conceal his attack. Sin prepared his flickscythe and folded away. Heavy rain muffled the silenced shot, blowing one of the guards heads clean off. A second later Sin appeared behind the second guard, skillfully decapitating him. As the brainwaster folded into the passageways, and relieved the two other guards of their heads, Ecstasy shot the gang member guarding the front door, right between the eyes.

Lust tried to lure down the guards above the manhole. One of them climbed down, but as Lust didn't have any silencers, she didn't risk exposing herself. After the guard returned, they also closed the manhole. As the group coordinated to attack the building, Jeff spotted something big climbing along the inner wall of the melt work through the skylight. Lust pushed open the manhole and threw in a concussion grenade. As the loud sound of the grenade rang through the building, Ecstasy and Sin opened a door on each side of the building and started firing at the gang members. Lust climbed up with her new gun in hand, and even George looted a shotgun and entered the building with camera on his shoulder.

Standing close to his latest victim, The Freak laughed madly as he stood naked in the middle of the open room. A few seconds later, Ecstasy introduced his face to a 12mm HEAP bullet, blowing away his perverse grin. As several guards stormed the operatives and opened automatic smg fire at them, they got shot down one by one. Even George stormed as his adrenalin kicked inn, shooting down one of the gang members. Lust and Sin got a painful spray from 10mm smg's, but luckily their deathsuits were tough enough to protect them. Sin formulated a few thermal balls at one screaming, unlucky, bastard, turning him to ash in a few instants. As Lust angrily pursued and cut down the one who shot her, a monstrous mutant ambushed Sin. Attacking with four mandibles, Sin had much of his armor shredded in pieces. Ecstasy saved the day by quickly shooting it through the eye, removing half of it's head. The commotion settled.

The Showdown:
A monstrous scream from below shook the group. Something huge and strong came rushing toward the main hall. They heard the angry scream from Mama Krutch, throwing them on the defensive. They threw a smoke grenade and escaped through the main door, weapons aimed at the doorway. As a steel-pole were thrown out of the smoke toward the operatives, they threw a few grenades back inn. As Mama Krutch apparently trampled around inside, ready to rip the operatives in pieces, they were waiting outside. George called 3hird Eye News, informing them about the situation. The department sanctioned five minutes of live feed and doubled the hunter sheet bounty if they killed here in melee. The Ultra Marines got pumped, starting to enhance themselves with drugs and ebb abilities.

She was finally dead. As the group felt a burden being released from their shoulder, they knew that 3hird Eye News had seen their achievement. The hunter sheet was done, and the sector was just a little bit safer. The local shivers arrived for clean-up, collecting Mama Krutch's body along with all the illegal weapons and drugs (except one dose of an unidentified drug picked up by Sin). Jeff was refused access to the area by the shivers, as he wasn't an employee or operative. At about 8PM, the group had returned to their home on the surface. Ecstasy received a call through his cellphone. The voice on the other end identified itself as Leroy from Rover Incorporated 369. He claimed to have caught Morgan Masterson, and wanted 10000 unis ready to be dropped off somewhere within 24 hours or the agent would be harmed... A few minutes later Jennifer asked for her father, which Ecstasy said were out on work. She nodded and spoke a bit about him finally getting time to spend with him. After making dinner, she left a plate for her dad in the fridge. Sin called his father, Mr. Spades, asking for the ransom-money. His father agreed to one term, he had to join him on a family dinner, and the whole squad was invited. Even Sin's grandfather were invited - a necanthrope...

Note from GM: This time we played from about 4PM to 6AM, so another allnighter - that's why the XP-count is so high. Also, I will continue rewarding the players when they are actively role playing, involving themselves in discussions, arguing and focusing on making the game more enjoyable for everyone. Great job! Also, Sin has taken my bait with regard to the squid-child from the previous session, playing along well, so far. Great power comes at the cost of great sacrifice. I will not say to much about the specifics around this matter. Also, the different types of shatter is entirely how I am using the drug in my setting, so nothing specifically written in the SLA books. As Jeffs character concept focus around the drug, I decided to make some more fluff around the drug. So far, I believe the players liked what they learned. For killing Mama Krutch and The Freak on live TV, civilians in the sector will begin to like them Good Reputation (SWS 369) Rank 2 and Good Reputation (3hird Eye News) Rank 2. I am just adding that most players have a Cool around 10 pts, and were using Feelgood or Flipp when encountering scary things. Jeg setter stor pris på at folk uttrykker glede med å lese referatenen mine, og jeg har planer med å fortsette med dette. ;)
Det er ikke lenge til jeg slenger ut et førsteuttkast, så kommer jeg til å fikse og rette på det etter hvert som jeg får tid til finpuss. Denne gangen har jeg tatt meg noen friheter og forklart litt om hva jeg tror deres rollers hode, og gjerne gi beskjed om dette ikke stemmer med hvordan dere ser dette for dere. :D
Kommer nok med utkastet i løpet av kvelden. :)

Session #9:
Characters Present: Bloodlust, Ecstasy, Lust, Sin.

Note from GM: Jeff, Miewyn and Light are not present during this session, so they will continue checking out local gang-activity in the sector. I forgot to mention something important in session #8 - The squad met with their contact in SWSPD 369, informing him about the location of the Gutter Runners. The vigilantes let the operatives know that they were going to check out the hospital.

Home Is Where The Heart Is:
9AM Saturday morning, the rainfall were merciful toward the sector. Bloodlust leaned into the eye scanner at the doorway while swiping his operative card through the card reader. After a few days at the Department of Psychosis, but it sure felt like far longer. His therapist had several sessions with the stormer, quickly digging through his mind. Bloodlust had never felt as weak as when the psychologist had unraveled his deepest doubts and fears. His armor could not shield his mind. His tough body could not withstand the therapists probing. His regeneration could not heal his psychosis. And he could certainly not shoot or chainsaw himself through these awful sessions. Well... he probably could, but that would just have been plain wrong! :tinfoil:

As the door opened, Bloodlust felt relived. His access to the collective meant he was still on the team. Changing teams and squad members all the time, made it harder and harder to connect to a person. It made it easier to focus on missions, hunter sheets, getting good film clips for 3hird Eye News and caring for his guns. The therapist had told the stormer that it was challenging to befriend non-stormers. If the Stormer were to build a solid and strong psyche, he would have to make more friends than his guns and armors. Relying on true friends was where he could harvest more power than any weaponry. As he closed the door behind him, he heard the sound of running feet down the hallway. His trusty karma-dachs came running to greet its master. ^^

The dog leaped into Bloodlusts hand. Even though he was a monster in the eyes of non-stormers. He could easily end the dog's life with a simple squeeze, the dachs did not care. It was truly happy to see him and had loyally been waiting for his return. Bloodlust felt a warm feeling stir through his strong body. The stormer was truly glad to meet someone who wholeheartedly cared for him. The therapist had talked about feelings, which was at some point hard to understand. He had been told that if one did not feel a thing, and there was only void, he had gotten as far away from humans as he possible could. He must fight this, and listen to his emotions. They say that Intruder still feels, and this is part of why he is The Perfect Warrior. Bloodlust knew he was descended from Intruder, and wanted to better himself as a warrior in every way. Perhaps showing just a little bit of emotions would shorten his road toward his goal. :tard:

Happy Reunion:
Bloodlust instantly noticed that his karma-dachs had gained a bit of weight. This was proof that the squad had been feeding his dog in his absence. As he passed Masterson's room, a young girl in a sports-outfit came out, heading for the gym downstairs. The stormer took a seat in the living room and leaned back. It truly felt good coming back home. Meeting George, Ecstasy, Lust and Sin, he got brought up-to-date about the progress in the BPN. Bloodlust grinned broadly when they explained and showed him the tape from the squad's meeting with Mama Krutch. They told him that the encounter were sent live on Channel 66. Masterson was kidnapped by Rover Incorporated 369, and Leroy, their team leader, were to contact Ecstasy at 12AM. Bloodlust went to the gym to work out. George tagged along, filming him while interviewing him about what products he had been using to develop such a muscular body. XD

Lust spoke to Ecstasy. She explained to him how powerless she had felt when confronting Mama Krutch. The ebon listened to her plea for tutoring her in enhancing her body with ebb. He agreed to help her out when they got time, but had to priority aiding Masterson for now. The two went to Lust's room to study. The young and eager girl focused on the formulas and basic principle about enhancement. After a while, the doorbell rang, and Bloodlust opened the door. In the light rain outside, a man in a black suit presented a card. Apparently he was John Doe from Cloaked Division and politely asked to meet with operative Sin. The middle-aged agent lifted his wet hat as he entered the building and was guided by the stormer to Sin's office. Together they spoke in confidentiality. :cool:

Lust curiously asked about the agent from cloaked division as John Doe had exited the building. Sin only told her that it was about Mama Krutch, and slip into his private room. Sin was alone. He felt a crawling sensation from within. A few minutes later he had lit up several candles around his quarters, casting dancing shadows around the room. Sitting down in the middle of the room, staring at the fire in a close by candle. The fire made him feel tranquil. The fire made him feel divine. The fire made him remember that dream... As he sunk deeper and deeper into a trance-like-state, he was suddenly awakened by heavy knocking on his door. As he opened the door, Lust stood outside, peeking inside. Curious about what he was doing. :eek:

The Deal:
The past few days had been eventful, almost overwhelming. Sin thought it strange with cloaked division meeting Sin in private. What was he doing in the room with all those candles? Did he hide a girlfriend in his private quarters? What was he hiding? As a delivery service dropped of a package to Lust, her mood got livened. Her doobree Intruder had arrived! Oh, joy! As she opened the plastic box, a mini-version of Intruder emerged before her, complete with a powered scythe. He was incredible cute, smiling at her calmly, resting his weapon on it's shoulder. Playing around with her new toy, she suppressed the craving for attention and love. :(

12AM Ecstasy's phone rang as expected. Calmly the ebon answered. Leroy, an advanced carrien spoke in a soft voice. He instructed Ecstasy to be ready with the ransom exactly at midnight. After Leroy hung up, Ecstasy gathered the three other operatives to brief them about the situation. Sin had already spoken to his father, Vertigo, who had agreed to give them the money on one condition. Sin had to take some of his squad members and join the Spades on one of their family dinners. All the squad members had received an invitation via mail, and in not very long a transport would be picking them up. As the Spades family were rich and located in Mort Central, the squad members decided to wear something appropriate. ^^

Ecstasy called a high-class company renting out suits for SLA executives. As their exclusive suits were of high quality fabric and made by famous designers in New Paris. They were quite expensive. The ebon ordered rental for one of these nine-hundred credits suits for one night. Sin dressed up in his family suit with the Spades motives and colours. Bloodlust ordered a three-hundred credits Vinicchi suit online. Even though it would take a few hours to make, it would be readily delivered in Mort Central. Lust purchased an expensive, red civilian dress (cheap employee/operative) for the occasion. As everyone made themselves ready for transportation, Sin had an evil grin. For only he knew what awaited the poor guests. :twisted:

Ecstasy - Free thought:
He remembered his days as a shiver clearly. As the only ebon in the squad, people somehow expected more from him than the others. Especially when it came to counseling and talking about their everyday problems. He truly cared about his team, sympathising with their hard work. It was dangerous for a shivers, even in the suburbs. This particular sector had a high crime rate, and this was hard on the civilian populace. Every day was a struggle. Every week was a battle. He tried to keep his colleagues from losing it, but the crime was too high. There was no way that the shivers could fight crime with what limited resourcers they were given. :wtf:

It started with empty threats from a new gang in the sector. Of course they ignored them as the shivers receive threats on a daily basis. Afterwards, Carters wife and kids got kidnapped, and the gang wanted a ransom to get them back. Carter never had a lot of money, and could not talk sense with the kidnappers. His wife got killed. His children got sold to skin trade. And there was nothing he could do about it. You see, the gang had guns, real weaponry. Not those pee-shooting CAF weapons. It made the shivers shit their pants whenever they showed up, and SLA did not care much. They sent a group of operatives once or twice who killed their gang-leaders. But leadership in gangs change more often than and oriental hooker changes outfits. :what:

The problem was the sector shiver commander. He was a righteous fellow. A real by-the-book kind of guy. Made all the hard-working, underpaid shivers work double shifts. That hurt morale. When anyone tried to make a deal with the criminal gangs or smuggle weapons to protect themselves with, the sector commander beat them down, threw their ass to The Wall. Piece of shit commander. Everything changed when this... thing showed up. The necanthrope was called Nihilism, and he had business down here in our sector. Can't remember what he looked like, but his aura did something to our minds, made us free. It kind of shook our loyalty to the company. He made us think outside the box. How to make ends meet. Nihilism made us break a few rules to keep the sector safe by his mere presence. I tell you, that thing is powerful and scary. I swear I could feel his mind. I can't imagine a more perfect being. Some say the shivers turned corrupt in our sector. I say we saved lives. The commander was busted by that damn reporter Jeff. You got to take what you have and make the best out of it, right? :D

Another World:
The Augustus Delux-Strech parked outside the All Blue compound. The expensive vehicle were black, with the family symbol, a spade. As the driver's door opened, a young, female brainwaster stepped out with an umbrella. She wore a short black velvet dress, high-heeled boots and gloves. Walking straight to the waiting operatives, she presented herself as Beatrix. Sin recognised her as his grandfather's vassal. With a smirk on her face, she invited the operatives back to the limousine. Even Bloodlust found the vehicle spacious. Real wood interior, leather-bound seats and a cold champagne awaited them. Sin told the operatives to be on their best behaviour. The Spades family was full of eccentric people, but if impressed, they could prove powerful allies. He told them to be respectful toward his grandfather, a necanthrope called Nihilism and his powerful gorecannon, Chaos. :cthulhu:

As the car came closer to Mort Central, the gigantic pyramid grew bigger and bigger on the horizon. Beatrix knew the shortest route back to the Spades mansion, but the trip still took several hours to drive. Passing through several security-checkpoints, they eventually ended up in Central. For the operatives, it felt almost like entering a new world. A mass of tall buildings of glass and steel were pointing up through the sky. Searchlights and huge commercial screens litt up the buildings. Neon-lights illuminated the busy streets, crowded by people. Shiver patrols were much more frequent and everything seemed clean - despite the heavy rainfall. Bloodlust suited up, and the car headed for the Spade's mansion. :danse:

The Spade's mansion were surrounded by a tall, stonewall. The mansion itself were shaped like a spade, if seen from the sky. Shivers were stationed at the gateway, entering the compound. Beatrix rolled down the window, and let the guards know that the guests had arrived. Several tall and elaborate statues lined the exterior of the mansion. The courtyard was decorated with fountains, and the garage where lined with many expensive cars, mostly SLA Industries produced. Beatrix escorted the guests to the front entrance, decorated with a set of huge, bronze-clad doors. A detailed picture of the spade's family were printed in the bronze plates. The heavy door swung open to welcome the party. :roll:

The Family Reunion:
The mansion's foyer were impressive. Black-flecked marble covered the floor. Huge pillars stretched ten meters toward the roof. Detailed pictures on every tile, told the Spade's proud family history and big events in SLA Industries. An impressive chandelier with illumination glyphs, illuminated the room clearly. An impressive hand painted portrait of Nill (short for Nihilism) where firmly sett in a Golden frame on the wall. Two sets of decorated staircases bent upward to the next floor. Six servants stood in tight formation, ready to serve any guests or family member. Beatrix offered them a welcome-drink, ready served at a large table, and went off to her master. :)

Before the excessive luxury of the mansion began to bore the operatives, they could hear a set of light feet running down the stairs. The young fourteen-year-old brainwaster girl were dressed in a white and pink dress. Made of the finest silk and decorated with cute, expensive jewelry, the girl's dress ended in a long tail. As the girl ran toward her older brother, the operatives could see that the girl had a large amount of make-up - resembling a porcelain doll more than a brainwaster. Jumping in Sin's arms, hugging him tightly, the girl soon presented herself as Innocent. Chatting a bit with the guests, she gave Lust her New-Parisian teddy-bear. Her innocent nature and cute appearance conflicted with her morbid humor. After a short stay, she ran off to prepare for the dinner. :flashfact:

During the next minute, two more of Sin's sisters came down the stairs. The youngest of them, Acedia, did not seem interested in greeting the guests. Half her hair had been shaved off, and a crown of titanium bolts spiked out of her shaved skull. With ripped jeans, a spiked belt and black top, she headed strait for another set of doors. The other sister, Pride, on the other hand, walked straight up to her brother, greeting him with a hug. She was more of a tom-boy, dressed in the regular family suit with bow-tie, just like Sin and her father. Her face was beautiful with red lipstick and some makeup. She was an employee in SLA Industries, and wore her shoulder-long, blond hair slicked backward, and seemed very professional. Greeting all the guest with a smile, she showed them the Spade's best behavior. She also arranged the family servants to dress Lust in something different, as she was clearly under dressed. The servants took her upstairs to the family wardrobe, dressing her up in one of the orthodox Gothic dresses with corset. After some polite chit-chat with the rest of the guests, Pride checked her silver pocket-watch and informed them that the dinner would soon begin. She rang a silver bell in the foyer, and a double door swung open. ;)

Befriending The Family:
The throne room beyond the door in the foyer where impressive. All walls, pillars and even the floor, where draped with dark-friction material. The stormer felt slightly queasy, but sucked it up, presenting himself with a sharp smile. A large and engraved diningtable where placed in the center of the room, pointing toward a short stairway, leading to a huge throne. The throne itself where huge, decorated with bones and skulls, all of them inscribed with decorative glyphs. Runes on pillars, illuminated the hall dimly. Servants hid behind tapestry between the pillars in the shadows. At the far end of the dining table, closest to the throne, awaited two brainwasters - Sin's father and mother, Vertigo and Gloria. :cool:

Vertigo was a middle-aged, charismatic brainwaster. He was known as a resourceful operative, with security clearance 5B. It showed that he was the one handling the familiy's day-to-day business. Greeting his son and guests politely he informed them that Nill would soon arrive. He introduced the guests to his wife, Gloria. The woman was clearly a beautiful lady. She was wearing a très chic dress from New Paris. It was golden, sparkly and funny-shaped, complete with a set of shoes and hat to match. As the guests complimented her dress, she sparkled like a diamond, completely loving the attention. Bloodlust did his best to feed her vanity, which made her blossom and shake with excitement. As the servants entered the room with Lust in her new crimson dress, she caught Vertigo's eye. The gentleman greeted her by kissing her hand and complimented her beautiful dress. As he spoke to her in a soft voice, her head felt dizzy, and she felt her heart pound faster. :tard:

As the guest and Spades family stood at the table, they all felt a low rumble from the floor. The door opened, and Sin, Beatrix and Pride fell to their knees. In the doorway there was a tall figure. Nihilism was a tall, old figure in an ancient suit. He wore a heavy cape, made of pelts from an extinct animal from somewhere far away. The gorecanon, Chaos, were attached to Nill's left shoulder, twitching and snarling. Nihil looked like he had died long ago. His grey face was wrinkled to a point where it was hard to see his eyes. As he started moving slowly toward his throne, all guest and every family members felt their mind overpowered by a vortex of chaotic thoughts. It shook their loyalty, even the stormer could not suppress the thoughts. It strengthened their strongest emotion, which instantly made Lust longing for Vertigo's love. Ecstasy remembered this feeling, savoring it. After what seemed like just a few confusing seconds, Nihil was firmly planted in this throne. His chiseled face did not show any emotion, but Sin knew he had reached out and welcomed all the family and squad members in his own way. :wow:

The Eight Course Meal:
To heighten their appetite, Pride would perform a classic song on violin. The beautiful lady recieved a beautiful violin made of dark friction. Anyone watching her perfect strokes with the bow could tell she was very talented. As the song played out, echoing through the acoustic halls, it got more and more intense. She passionately played with almost inhuman speed, building up the requiem she was playing. Captivating all guests and family members in a fantastic display of music, Pride sent chills down their spines and gave them goosebumps. After finishing her last stroke, she politely bowed and received a applause. Afterwards, Beatrix welcomed the guests and family members on behalf of Nihilism, and informed them that they where going to be served an exotic eight course meal. The exotic dishes were all optional to be eaten, but all where made exclusively for this dinner party. Beatrix presented all these dishes as they where served one and one. :v

  • First Course - Duh Insect Le Frit | Bowles filled with fried insects from cannibal sector 1 with dipping sauce served as an appetiser. Crickets, spiders, larvae and centipedes where included. Crisp and delicious!
  • Second Course - Croack Balut | A fertilized croak embryo, boiled and eaten in the shell. Popularly believed to be an aphrodisiac and considered a high-protein, hearty snack!
  • Third Course - Oriental Turtle in Herbal Soup | Actually a giant, cockroach, boiled in oriental spices. When belly is cut open, it's protein rich brood will come swarming out!
  • Fourth Course - Fried Carrien Fetus | Stacks of lightly fried carrien fetus served with chili sauce. Will gasp for air when touched. Feel powerful and eat heartly!
  • Fifth Course - Steamed Mortian Carnivorous Pig Cloves | Soggy, pale, chewy, carnivorous pig cloves served in a delicious, black bean sauce!
  • Sixth Course - Barbequed Rat Intestines | Rat gizzard, liver and heart, skewered and garnished with sauce and fat!
  • Seventh Course - Homegrown Crimson Algea | Stinks like the sewer where it is harvested. But rich on taste as the spicy poison within will make you bleed from your eyes!
  • Eith Course - Golden Brutefish Testicles | From an extinct mutant fish in cannibal sector one. The male fish's large, stringy and tight testicles will release a joy of injected New Parisian chocolate when eaten!

Everyone around the table spoke together as each dish was served. Some avoided eating the most... exotic courses. Others enjoyed a lot of alkohol to... enhance the rich flavors. Some did not have the nerve to eat certain courses, while other could not keep the food in the stomachs after bravely eating the food. Some bled from their eyes. In all, the physical and mental health were shaken by every participant except Nill, who silently observed from his seat. Pride and Lust spoke often, with Lust flirting frequently. Pride gave Lust her phone number, but kept it subtle. In the end, the family seemed to enjoy the squads company, eager to have them back next month for the yet another family dinner party. Vertigo made sure Sin received a suitcase with the ransom money and a gift basket with an expensive Spades XO brandy. As Beatrix drove the squad back home, Sin seemed positively surprised by the squads performance, complimenting them for their effort. :bloblo:

Rescue Mission:
Returning to the collective, Beatrix took her farewell with the squad. She let Sin know that Nill were pleased that he had not become a corporate sleaze-bag like his father and sister. Nill liked free-spirited people, creating their own happiness. As she left the compound, the squad prepared their next move. Lust delivered her prototype lap-top gun and picked up a new weapon borrowed by her contact. This new weapon was a powerful tranquilizer rifle, based on the FEN 30-30. The bolt-action rifle could fire a high-speed titanium tipped needles, putting down most victims in a deep sleep. As they waited, Ecstasy received another expected call from Leroy. He was instructed to drop off the ransom at midnight at a given address, in sub-level 4, in exchange for Morgan Masterson. Ecstasy did not want to risk the carriens hurting Masterson or the other squad mates, so he devised a plan. :?:

About an hour before midnight, the team moved out in two teams. Bloodlust and Lust where prepared to back up the others on short notice. With his BLA Blitzer back in his possession, Lust led him to the Golden Dragon capsule hotel where they previously had an encounter with carriens. The courtyard where crawling with rats ripping flesh of the stripped carriens. Last time they had left their bodies, they all had a set of piecemeal armor. Someone had clearly looted them. The two operatives carefully checked out the hotel, but even Lust's scout helmet did not spit anything hostile. She climbed on top of the roof and checked her nava-map for the address close by given to her earlier by Ecstasy. Lying flat on the roof, she calmly used the rifles scope to scout the gas-station. Someone where obviously boarded up in the building. She could se heat signature from something humanoid walking around inside. Ecstasy told her to keep radio silence from now on, as he did not want to risk being noticed if the carriens had some technical equipment to listen in on their conversations. Lust waited patiently, observing the area carefully thought her scope while Bloodlust patrooled the area. She felt safe with him around. Postet bilde

On an ally across the street from the gas-station, Ecstasy and Sin where hiding in the darkness. The ebon wore his usual disguise over his deathsuit. He told Sin to be ready to act if he heard signs of trouble. Ecstasy planned on carefully approaching the place, deliver the ransom, and get Masterson out there alive. Sin prepared his scythed and nodded. As the ebon walked across the street, he saw that the building had it's windows sealed up with crude metal plates and garbage. Some sort of makeshift barricade around the empty fuel-tanks where made of junk and wheels. He saw a brown envelope hanging on the front door. Carefully opening the envelope, a letter inside instructed him that any hostility would result in consequence for Masterson, and also inviting him to the drop-off in the basement. Ecstasy quickly found a side entrance leading down to the gas-station basement. The steel door in the bottom where open. :ninja:

Betrayal:
After about fifteen minutes, Ecstasy emerged from the stairs without the suitcase, but kept hiding in the shadows. He asked Sin to fold over the street to his location. Sin appeared next to the ebon in an instant. They whispered together, and the brainwaster carefully put the scythe on his back and followed Ecstasy back into the basement. Around twenty five minutes past midnight, Lust spotted two more humanoid heat-signatures that suddenly appeared inside the gas-station she had been observing. One of the humanoids opened automatic fire through the roof. The other ran toward the exit, kicking itself through the makeshift barricade. Over his shoulder, there was a faint heat-signature from a third humanoid. Ecstasy called Lust and the stormer on the com-link, and told them to join up with them as soon as possible. Masterson's life where on stake. :eek:

Without hesitation, Bloodlust and the brainwaster started running toward the gas-station along the main street. As they approached Ecstasy and Sin halfway, Sin had dumped the carrien body, with only its bloody half-scull in his hand. Ecstasy told them that the Leroy and the carriens had tried to trick them, but they knew where to find the operative. After quickly checking out the new address, they knew it was less than half-an-hour run from here. Without answering too many probing questions about what had happened in the gas-station, Ecstasy hasted toward the address with the squad to save Morgan Masterson. :fuckoff:

Note from GM: This was a great session for everyone. In my opinion, this was probably one of the best session when it comes to character development and role playing. Ecstasy felt his background fitting with having met (or felt) Nihilism in his days as a shiver (and rolling double 10 on the reputation roll), so we quickly adapted his background to build this connection. Bloodlust had his loyalty shaken by Nill's presence, giving him the possibility and excuse to develop a less by-the-book and fanatically loyal personality. Sin had given me the option to create his family as I seemed fit. He only requested that his grandfather was buildt on his name (Nill or Nihilism), and his sisters to be inspired by the seven deadly sins or demonic names. In the end, he seemed pleased with how the family was presented, and we all agreed to include them into the campaign as a role playing factor and major/minor friends. Lust seemed interested in getting to know Sin's sister, Pride more, maybe even starting a romantic (secret) relationship. I believe it all turned out to be very exciting the way this is going, so I am looking forward to include the family more. I left out two parts of the story written - Sin's meeting with John Doe from Cloacked Division, and Ecstasy and Sin's meeting with the carriens. Some things are best left unknown, and as I feel SLA Industries is a game of conspiracies and such, I will keep some scenes in the dark from some players. I believe this will enhance the paranoia in the game to a certain degree, and result in a better tension and natural scepticism between the players. Also, I forced a lot of Cool and Phys rolls when the players ate the eight courses of food at the dinner party. As I based all the courses on real food (mainly eaten in Asia), I think we all had a lot of fun with this scene. Next session will be mostly about rescuing their fellow squad member, Morgan Masterson.

Session #10:
Characters Present:
Bloodlust, Ecstasy, Lust, Sin.

Note from GM: Jeff, Miewyn and Light are not present during this session, so they will continue checking out local gang-activity in the sector. Miewyn got in contact with SWSPD 369, helping them out with the Gutter Runners.

A Friend in Distress:
The streets were littered with garbage and junk. Rusty car-wrecks and barrels where shattered around the area. Crumbling buildings in different states of disrepair where a proof that SLA Industries had given up the sub-level many years ago. The asphalt and street signs were cracked and broken. Hot and damp air, mixed with toxic fumes, filled the sector. As all four operatives marked the address of where Masterson where held and Sin called George. Apparently, the reporter where relaxing in the collective, watching "Alien Sex Channel", minding his own business. After the sudden call, to George surprise, Sin appeared inn the living room. Before any of them could say, "Karma Cheeseburger", they appeared back in the streets in sub-level 4. Confused and nauseated from being folded, George drew his camera and tried his best to keep up with Ecstasy and Sin, knowing that it was time for some quality footage being done.

Bloodlust were the fastest runner of them all, being a stormer and all. Using his Nava-Map to navigate through the dark streets, he ended up in front of a run down storage building. A set of large, rusty, metal doors covered the front entrance. Bloodlust easily opened by doors with a low shriek and stepped through them. The inside where inhabited by a few hundred rats, some of them eating ferociously on some human remains in a corner. Checking the area with his wrist-mounted motion scanner, Bloodlust secured the area with his trusty Blitzer. A bench by the rats, were obviously being used to prepare humanoids by the carriens. Ignoring the rats and their feast, the stormer proceeded down a staircase leading toward the sewer. Stopping by the bottom of the stairs and waiting for the other operatives, he pointed his revolver down a long and dirty tunnel.

Even though George and Sin were no trained athletes, Ecstasy found the shortest route with his Nava-Map, guiding them quickly to the storehouse building. Lust came shortly after, and also checked her motion-scanner for movement within. Entering the open door, with George illuminating the storehouse with his 140w camera light, frightening the rats. As the sound of hundreds of fleeing rats echoed down the nearby sewer tunnels, the operatives met up with Bloodlust after a quick sweep of the area. As the group walked through the tunnel, they came to a cross-point. Eight tunnels stretched out like a maze through the sub-level. Searching the ground for tracks, the Sin and Lust noticed screams coming from one of the tunnels. Mastersons screams where accompanied by sounds of beating. With little hesitation, the agents started rushing to save their comrade.

Looking for Trouble:
Rushing through the narrow tunnels, feeling the well-known stink of the sewer, stabbing them like a rusty blade, they began to hear the brutal screams from carriens echoing toward them. They entered a large sewer flood-station, which were a huge, hemisphere shaped room. The operatives entered the room through a sewerpipe, onto a walkway ten meters from the floor. The walkway stretched itself along the circular wall. Fifty meters across the room, with the roof reaching a height of fifteen meters from the ground, the flood-station were vast. In the center of the room, a large pump-machine had a group of carriens beating the shit out of Masterson with kicks and hockey-sticks. He had only his leather pants on, with lots of bruises covering his exposed upper body. A few large cargo containers, barrels and crates were also lying around.

The massive stormer kept running out of the sewer-tunnel determined to save Masterson. Shooting his grappling-gun toward the roof and throwing his armored body over the walkway. Sin followed closely, using the grappling-gun with more precision, swinging himself toward the carriens. Lust came after, and started to formulate as she reached the walkway. The vast room was pitch-black, apart from the Ronker Rollers spotlight carried by the exhausted George. Ecstasy stayed with George at the walkway, as the reporter enthusiastically pointed the camera toward the operatives, engaging the carriens.

The carriens were wiry, clad in dirty piecemeal armor made from various bits of armor and junk. With what seemed like too many teeth placed in a mouth, they drooled and screamed as their beady yellow eyes darted toward the operatives. Sin swung himself onto one of the beasts, sending it to the floor. As the carrien headbutted Sins prop mask desperately, the eban immolated himself, enjoying the sound and smell of flesh being burnt. As Lust folded to the carriens, she was quickly caught off-guard by a well-placed hockey-stick. Hitting the floor, she managed to keep the carrien away with her oriental dai-katana. Just as the operatives started feeling confident, killing the carriens one by one, the doors of one cargo-container swung open. A group of four angry carnivorous pigs came stampeding out toward the operatives. At the same time, a huge and monstrous figure jumped down from the shadows above George and Ecstasy.

Turning Tides:
The frothing, monstrous figure was the largest and fiercest greater carrien they had ever seen. It stretched three meters tall, carrying a huge set of pointy and decorated antlers on its head. Carrying a piecemeal armor and a battl-eaxe, vibrating with a fixed chopping edge. George fell to the floor, paralyzed with fear and vetting his pants. Ecstasy started formulate, knowing his life was surely in danger. This perfectly build specimen of the crude carrien race, was somehow inspiring. As the ebon formulated to form his own hand into the powerful ebb claw, he gained new insight in formulating his physique. Ecstasy was roughly and quickly hit in the head with the fearsome battle-axe. With a fully hardened deathsuit protecting his head, he still had the worst headache ever, and probably a broken nose. As the world swirled around him, he knew he could not take many hits in the head from this brutal being. Just barely avoiding the next attack, the axe planted itself deep in the concrete wall. Easily cutting a few pipes, the axe got stuck and steam came pouring out of the pipes. As the monster ripped the axe from the wall while getting ready for his next attack, Ecstasy quickly punched it in the groin. Another attack hit the concrete wall as the screams of carnivorous came from the center of the room.

Sin quickly folded away from the stampede. He drew his Farjacket and dropped a pig with the powerful round of 17mm. Lust saw one of the pigs stepping brutally on Mastersons head with a heavy clove as it charged toward her. The pigs were quick, strong and bit the operatives with all their might. But the claws and fangs of the pigs could do nothing but bruise Lusts hardened deathsuit and Bloodlusts armor. One by one the pigs fell due to attacks from the dai-katana, mutilator fist and a mighty headbutt from the stormer. Sin on the other hand had spotted the danger on the walkway, and folded up to aid Ecstasy and George.

Ecstasy got covered in blood as the greater carriens piecemeal armor opened up like an exploding cigar from "Crazy Clowns Funware". Sin held his smoking Farjacket firmly with both hands, smiling. The greater carrien stood still, with a clean hole through his stomach. Then, a low growl surprised the operatives. Before Sin could react, he felt the business end of the battle-axe bury itself in his head, as the carrien spun around with inhuman speed and skill. Protected by his hardened deathsuit, Sin knew that this opponent could be the bane to all of them. As the huge monster lifted the axe above its head to finish him off, Sin punched the carrien between its legs. Distracted by the sharp pain, it barely missed the operatives head, sending the axe straight in the walkway with a loud crunch. As is angrily pulled up the axe, making ready for a new attack before Sin could react. But Ecstasy used the opportunity to bury his long razor-caws through the carriens chest, extinguishing the last spark of life in its eyes.

Serious Injury:
Lust was first by Mastersons side. He had been trampled by a 350kg carnivorous pig, and his face had been broken on several places. Healing his body using ebb, removing all visible injuries, he still unconscious. Masterson was in highly in need of medical care. George snapped out of his trauma, and quickly lit a "Deathstick" cigarette. Nervously filming the scene.

Sin grabbed a hold of him, and felt a feeling he rarely felt - it was like an iceing stab to his chest. The feeling of sympathy. Somehow, Sin felt responsible for Mastersons condition. Or mabye it was his beloved daughter, Jennifer, who waited patiently to finally get some quality time with her father, that made Sin help the human. He mustered all the remaining ebb throughout his body, and folded back to the upper-level shiver station. With the unconscious operative in his hands, he walked in the front door to make sure the shivers gave Masterson proper medical care.

Checking out the area, it seemed like the carriens had been using the area as a temporary camp. The other cargo-container were filled with workbenches, office and computer equipment, though most of it were already missing, as if someone recently left in a hurry. The pump-machine had some metal bands with chains and several mechanical glass-injectors build into it. This was probably where Masterson had been hanging around, mabye even drugged by the now empty glass-injectors. The remaining operatives filmed the dead carriens, took the battle-axe with them and returned to their home.

Fire and Flames:
It was about 2AM when they came home. As Ecstasy passed Mastersons room, he saw a homely sign on the door saying "Postet bilde Worlds greatest dad Postet bilde". It pained him, thinking about letting Jennifer know about the bad news. Lust wanted to let her know, but Ecstasy told her he was going to do this himself, as he felt responsible.

Lust waited for a while outside Sins room. She felt something was wrong with him. Listening to his door, checking the motion scanner in her scout helmet for any suspicious activity. After a while she got noticed by Sin, who invited her in. Lots of candles were again lit in his room, to an almost nature. She confronted him with the fact that she had been noticing him changing somehow recently. Sin told her about the dream he had a few nights before, and tried to remember more details. Lust saw one of his eyes glow with an eerie orange glow. Never had she heard about a formula with such an effect.

As Lust exited the room, she met Jennifer in the hallway. With the scout helmet under her arm and a concerned look on her face, Jennifer invited her in. She had seen her exiting Sins room, and though she had boy-troubles. They opened a flask of wine, with Jennifer trying to cheer her up by bad-mouthing boys in general. Lust learned how much she really cared for her father and how much she looked forward spending more time with him. Lust did not have the concience to tell Jennifer about Mastersons condition. After retiring back to her office, she wrote a full report about what happened that night, along with an email to Department of Ebb about the orange glow, dreams and ebb baby concerning Sin.

A Wakeup Call:
The shivers had faxed them the report. Masterson had suffered head trauma, and were now in a coma. The doctors did not know when he was going to wake up, and there was nothing LAD could do about it. They did not find any foreign drugs in his system, and he was classified as "in stable condition". The squads request for a change in leadership and name were also approved. Ecstasy had now replaced Bloodlust as squad leader, and their squad had been renamed to "Syndicate".

Early in the morning, the doorbell rang. A few power armored operatives and an ebon presented a warrant to enter the building and put Sin in custody. They were quick and effective. One guard asking Bloodlust to return to his chambers, standing guard outside. One guarded the hallway outside Sins room. The ebon and a third operative entered Sins chamber, showing him the warrant, escorting him out. Jennifer opened the door because of all the commotion. As one of the guards spotted her, they dragged her with them for questioning as a civilian she could be a suspect concerning Mastersons recent kidnapping and injury. On their way out, the ebon stopped in front of Lust, informing her about the good work, and that the department appreciated loyal operatives. The whole squad witnessed the operatives drag Jennifer kicking and screaming along with Sin into a large SLA car marked Department of Ebb, and driving off.

When Sin returned him around midday, he wore a band-aid and an eye patch cover one eye. He told them that they had plucked out one of his eyes. Sin seemed calm about the matter and to not hold a grudge toward Lust. Lust was depressed about notifying the department, and it hurt her that Sin had lost his eye as a result. Also, Jennifer was still in interrogation. The interrogators had probably told her about Masterson. That would really ruin her day. Poor girl. To get away from things, clearing her head, she went to an art atelier owned by Pride, who had given her an open invitation to come visit.

Note from GM: As Mastersons player don't live close by anymore, I used this session to put his character in a coma. If the player returns, he will wake up from the comatose. It was also interesting to see how far the other characters would go to rescue one of their own. I must say that they did their best. Sin used the opportunity to role-play some emotions, to slowly counteract his Psychosis (Sosiopathy). I will allow him to use XP to buy away one point if he chooses. Ecstasy also role played good after being guilt-tripped by Jennifer - with her being arrested topping the iceberg. Bloodlust also showed some good role playing while scolding Lust, or so I heard. At that moment, I was outside with Sins player, playing out the scene at Department of Ebb. Lust also role played a lot concerning her suspicion about Sin and the ebb-baby.

før den ble avfyrt, så rakk Ecstasy å slå Ebb Razors gjennom dens
brystkasse - noe som drepte den. Carrienen hadde allerede blitt skutt en
gang av Farjacketen. Tsk tsk.
<br><font size="3">Session #11:</font><br><b>Characters Present:</b> Bloodlust, Ecstasy, Jeff, Miewyn.<br><br><i>Note
from GM: Lust, Light and Sin are not present during this session, so
they will continue checking out local gang-activity in the sector. Light
continue working deep undercover with the Road Burners. Lust met up
with Pride in the sector to get her mind off recent events. Sin needed
some time off to recover from his eye-injury.</i><br><br><b>Recent Events &amp; Sector News:</b><br>Jeff
had been busy lately, working on his reports regarding the "Project:
All Blue". Around midday on Monday, he decided to go check on how the
operatives at the collective where doing. He hurried across the busy
street, shielding himself from the merciless rain. After entering the
complex, he socialized with the agents, seeming very eager for them to
produce yet another juicy story for him. Jeff's pupils where small, and
his eyes where bloodshot. It was obvious he had been up all night
working his journalism skills, using some sort of drugs to keep him on
edge. :shock: <br><br>The squad informed Jeff about the most recent
events. They all started planning their next approach together.
Bloodlust were eager to end their current BPN, getting his long due SCL
increase. Ecstasy wanted to follow up some loose ends. Even though the
BPN didn't pay much (55c a day per op), it was still respectable as a
steady payment. They consulted Jeff for advice about pursuing the
different gangs, but the reporter informed them that he just was an
observer. He did not want to make any decisions for the squad. :?&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>On the <i>Sector News</i> however, there was a civilian report about the gang, SWSPD369. They had been raiding the Gutter Runners at <i>St. Mary's Hospital</i>.
Armed with illegal weaponry and light power armors, the vigilantes had
been filmed shooting down several mutated Gutter Runners and lighting
the infested hospital on fire. It seemed that the gang had gained much
civilian support from the sector, and it was mentioned that Syndicate, a
SLA squad, was involved in the raid. Shivers came after a while to
fight the fire and confront the gang, but the vigilantes had already
retreated into the night by that time. :x&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><b>Searching the Remains:</b><br>Miewyn
confessed helping out the vigilante gang. To be honest, she was sick of
the plague infested and mutated Gutter Runners, and had been longing to
exterminate them. The wraith raider informed her squad that Dr. Gregor
Hoffman, had escaped the hospital before she could get her claws on him.
It was possible he had used the sewer tunnels to slip away from the
onslaught. Jeff was eager to follow the operatives in hunting down the
crazy doctor. <img src="http://forum.sksf.no/public/style_emoticons/default/wink2.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=";)">&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>They
traveled to the burned Hospital in Sub-level 3. A few signs where
placed around the area from the local shivers, clearly marking the area
off limits for civilians. The area in front of the main entrance where
littered with empty bullet casings and shells from automatic rifles and
shotguns. Wet ash from piles of burned bodies still remained after the
shiver's clean-up. Most of the interior of the hospitals first two
floors where burned black, bearing many wounds from bullets and a few
grenades. :geek: <br><br>The fireshives had stopped the fire before the
building had been utterly destroyed. In fact, a few of the top floors
where pretty much undamaged. With Jeff following them in a tight leash,
the operatives passed piles of burned bodies, shiver tape, and debris,
searching through the building. At the head office of the administration
wing of the hospital, they found what had to be the doctors living
quarter. The neatly organized area where obviously missing a computer.
Ecstasy bagged some of Hoffman's personal effects. :idea:&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><b>Sewer Sniffing:</b><br>The
squad looked up a former helpful hobo on the surface-level of the
sector. By a jury-rigged still in a dirty ally, the operatives found a
couple of hobos. This was where Masterson, Light and Bloodlust had
formerly found a hidden entrance to the sewers a few days ago. One of
the hobos was mad, speaking incomprehensible and stinking of strong
spirits. The other one, was dressed in a dirty urban camo, with a
backpack and a ski mask. His mouth was deformed, making him unable to
speak. :o&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>Earlier the hobo had helped out the operatives,
tracking down a few mercenaries through the sewer. The hobo was offered
payment in the form of ammunition for helping them. Tracking down Dr.
Gregor Hoffman using the scent from his personal effects, the hobo
quickly caught the doctor's scent lingering in the sewers under the
hospital. Ecstasy gave him a civilian cellphone and his phone number.
8-) <br><br>A few hours later, the mysterious hobo mutant had been
tracking the scent to a seedy motel all the way down in sub-level 5. The
three operatives quickly traveled to the area, with Jeff following
them. Miewyn and Bloodlust arrived in their power armors. Ecstasy
carried a hat and coat, covering his deathsuit, naturally drawing less
attention than the two obvious operatives. <img src="http://forum.sksf.no/public/style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":)"> <br><br><b>The Motel Corpse:</b><br>It
was easy to persuade the motel's manager to give up the relevant
information. With a firm tone, Bloodlust asked the greedy man nicely,
for a stormer. They were given a key to an apartment, and after a short
intervju with the manager, he gave them a description matching the
doctor. Entering the room, they found a dead hooker tied to the bed. No
visible signs of injury were presen, except a little blood from her
nose, were discovered. Miewyn, the investigator, found traces after a
broken glass syringe and a long and thick needle in the sink. Local
shivers where called inn for clean up. :ugeek:&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>The manager had
not seen the person leave the building, but there was a fire escape
leading into a dark ally. Jeff investigated the ally, but found no trace
from the doctor. However, he spotted a small laundry business within
the ally. A guard was posted at the entrance, keeping an aluminum bat
close by. Jeff intervjued the guard, who was eager to show of his
tattoo, stating his origin from Orienta. The guard was also a
struggeling musician, and gave Jeff a demo on the spot. Telling the
reporter about a man climbing down the stairs half a day ago, being
picked up by a car. The car was distinct, with the gilded horns of a
greater carrion on the bumper. :| <br><br>The shivers arrived to bag and
tag evidence, collect the body and spoke to Ecstasy privately. They had
formerly had an "incident" with one of his squad mates, Lust, and
wanted to make sure the squad did not make any more problems for them.
The backroom negotiations went smooth, and the operatives left to check
out Jeff's tip about the custom bumper. :arrow:&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><b>Missing Link:</b><br>Checking
out the information database available to operatives, the discovered
that the custom car indeed was unique. It belonged to an ex-operative
named Frank Bighorn. He had been an operative for about twenty years,
but did not get a better SCL than 9. Bighorn had been known for working
mostly solitary in the Cannibal Sectors, living of collecting carrien
trophies instead of completing BPNs. Through the years, Bighorn had
killed almost a thousand assorted carriens, returning a lot of SLA and
soft company equipment in his expeditions. Now, legally retired,
enjoying peaceful days in sub-level 5, owning his own civilian business.

streetwise had heard about Bighorn being connected to Gizmo. What
connection he had to Dr. Gregor Hoffman was still unknown. Ecstasy
decided to "poke around" the Golden Globe Casino, to see if they could
find any leads about Hoffman or Bighorn. Ecstasy and Miewyn both used
disguised when they went to the Casino. Around 6pm, the operatives
spread out to look around the luxurious and crowded building. Armed
guards in suits and communicators where stationed around doors to the
backrooms, entrances and a few roaming randomly in the public areas. 8-)
<br><br>Miewyn checked out the luxurious restaurant at the Golden Globe
Casino. She found Gizmo, a fat, balding man, dressed in an expensive
suit, dining with a gluttonous appetite. He was in the middle of a huge
dinner, eating for several people. Jeff met up discretely with Ecstasy
after they both had looked around the casino. Jeff noticed one of the
guards keeping an eye on the ebon. Casually approaching the guard, he
started smooth-talking with him. The guard admitted keeping an eye out
for the poorly disguised ebon. He also informed Jeff about the stormer
outside the front entrance. <img src="http://forum.sksf.no/public/style_emoticons/default/lol.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":lol:"> <br><br><b>The Big Cheese:</b><br>After
a while, Bloodlust reported spotting Bighorn's car driving in front of
the casino. A tall, strongly build, old, bearded man, wearing an old
fashioned, yet high quality suit. The towering figure were accompanied
by a masked figure, dress in a pitch black robe. Both were met by a set
of guards, who escorted them into the building. Bloodlust kept watch
from outside the casino. :x&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>Miewyn observed the old man being
escorted to Gizmo. Gizmo rose from his chair to shake Bighorns hand.
They both sat at the table, talking together. Miewyn tried to get a
table closer to the two, but could not do it without it looking
suspicious. She was not close enough to overhear their conversation.
After Gizmo finished his dinner, he invited the tall man to the
backroom. The robed figure followed closely. :? <br><br>The operatives
hung around the casino for an hour and a half, after which Bighorn
exited the building to drive off in his car. Bloodlust was still keeping
position outside. Ecstasy and Jeff followed Bighorn, each in their own
taxi. Miewyn was still inside the casino, looking for a way to the back
rooms. There were a lot of traffic at that moment, and the reporter had
trouble following Bighorns car, getting stuck between two anonymous

from GM: I had a talk with Miewyns player before this session, where I
gave her the option to either aid SWSPD369 in raiding the Gutter Runners
(guaranteeing their success) or not (rendering their attempt
unsuccessfully). The positive side was that they lost their HQ, many of
their mutants and resources. The downside is that SWSPD369 informed the
media about their help from SLA, improving their relation by local
population <b>Good Reputation - SWS369 by 1 rank</b>. On the other hand,
SLA Industries does not approve of their agents cooperation with gangs
and such, but will let this one slip for now. Keeping a closer eye on
their agents. Also, I haven't been as active at writing and posting the
summaries from the campaign lately due to being involved in six (soon
seven) campaigns at the moment.</i> <br>
<br>Session #13:<br>Characters Present: Bloodlust, Ecstasy, Lust, Sin.<br><br><i>Note
from GM: Light, Miewyn and Jeff are not present. Light and Miewyn will
be working with their own blue BPN (more details on this later) on the
side as the present characters work with theirs. Jeff is busy with his
own situation (more details on this next time he is present).</i><br><br><b>BPN Completion:</b><br>The
next morning, the four operatives met around breakfast, and decided to
send in a request for BPN completion to Candice Oldroyd. They alt felt
ready for something new and fresh. Their request was approved, along
with their .1 SCL increase. Candice also requested to meet the available
operatives for a debriefing and their own take on gang activity in the
sector. Before leaving to meet Candice, Sector News had a report of two
operatives found dead and stripped close to Bad Mojo. There was also a
report about several gangmembers of Road Burners where found massacred
close to a skating park.<br><br>Candice Oldroyd met the agents in a
departmental building. She was short, chubby and easy-going woman in her
mid thirties. As a departmental analytic, she listened patiently to
their personal opinions about the threat posed by the different gang.
Candice strictly informed them that she did not want to hear more about
Syndicate cooperating with local gangs. Even SWSPD369, who obviously was
a high in opposition to SLA in the sector. The Voodoo Gang was also
classified as a threat because of recent activities.<br><br>Candice
complimented on the thorough work, their vigilance toward fighting gangs
and carriens in the sector. She offered them a choice for their next
blue BPN. One involved upholding a quarantine for 24h in a civilian
apartment block. The other BPN involved escorting and protection of a
crew cleaning up after a massacre at a local poorhouse. Choosing the
first BPN, Candice took a note of this and informed them that she would
make a call before their next trip to the local BPN hall.<br><br><b>Rewards:</b><br>Ecstasy
was satisfied along with the others and treated his squad for some good
food to celebrate their first BPN completion. Bloodlust was hungry for
some custom firearms, and was interested in getting his hands on a
handheld shotgun. He asked Sin, who obviously had a powerful family
about acquiring such a weapon. Sin smiled, and told him to call his
mother, Gloria, who the stormer earlier had flattered greatly at a
Spades dinner party. This was a prank on Sins part, and as the oblivious
stormer called the lady, she of course responded somewhat confused, but
promised to look into it. After misleading the stormer, Sin ordered a
Chalaharvey Motorcycle.<br><br>Shortly after, Bloodlust got a text
message from Gloria with an address. On closer inspection, he recognized
the address as the area where Masterson, Light and himself found a
secret sewer entrance to an underground fighting pit and a black market
weapons dealer protected by <b>TekTrex</b> robots. He quickly left to check out the weapons dealer.<br><br>Bloodlust
stepped up to the bulletproof window at the counter. Sparks from
wielding flew on a fit, elderly human, dressed in a thick leathery apron
and welding mask. Racks of electronics and parts for weapons lined the
wall, along with a few custom weapons. The man posted on working his
current project, and advanced the stormer. Lifting the mask and asking
what he needed, Bloodlust ordered a weapon. The old man was given his
number, and told him it was a quick and easy task. Bloodlust paied a bit
more than 2000u, and left with a satisfied grin.<br><br><b>New Assignment:</b><br>While
the squad leader was filling out proper applications for a new BPN in
the local BPN hall, Bloodlust received a text message with an address
for picking up his order a few hour after his order. Soon after he was
found drooling over a rough, bulky five-shot revolver, packing small
shotgun shells. The revolver was based on a robust flare gun. Ecstasy
returned to the collective around 1pm with the new BPN.<br><br><b><u>BPN #2</u></b><br><b>Color Code:</b> Blue<br><b>SCL Requirement:</b> 10<br><b>Contact Department of:</b> 3hird Eye News<br><b>Recommended Training Packadges:</b> Striker<br><b>3hird Eye News:</b> Yes<br><b>Station Analysis:</b> No<br><b>Payment:</b> 75c per operative<br><b>Description:</b> Execute and maintain quarantine for 24h at civilian apartment block in Sector 369 SW of Suburbia. Contact <i>Marcus Flair 543-129 0775</i>.<br><br>After
contacting Marcus Flair, they were given the address for the apartment
block, and told to start quarantine at Wednesday 8pm and for the next
24h. No one (except Ops) goes inn or out of the area. Flair was very
specific about no gang activity was welcome in the area. Posters,
quarantine tape and such where available for pickup at their local
shiver station. The area was only possible contaminated, and should pose
no threat to the operatives because of standard medical vaccines
distributed yearly to all employees through Department of Health and
Safety. George was also to accompany them to try getting some good
footage.<br><br><b>Preparing for Quarantine:</b><br>The squad picked up
the BPN equipment at the local shiver stations, and met at the apartment
block more than six hours before initiating the quarantine. The
apartment block was a fifty square meters, and three stories high. Two
gates on the blocks west side led into a big spacious courtyard in the
middle of the block. The block was divided into several sections, with
entrances from the street surrounding the area, and entrances to the
courtyard. Civilians went about with their usual business. The squad
spotted to civilians leaning toward the wall near the front entrance.
One of them carrying a heavy trench coat and a CAF hunting rifle, the
other one with a nailed baseball bat. They guarded the area at daytime,
discouraging vandalism and burglary, but claimed that the area was
protected at night by SWSPD369.<br><br>As the operatives spread out to
notify the tenants with posters and going from door to door, they
recieved various responses. Some civilians just nodded politely and
retreated to their apartments. Others were furious being informed on
such short notice. Some demanded an explanation about the danger of
contamination, asking why there was no medical crew present. Some groups
of civilians started getting agitated and refusing to calm down until
Ecstasy put them in their place. There were also a dozen low paid
industrial workers who were dependent on a meltingplant with strikt
rules and regulations. Bloodlust arranged and paid for their temporary
stay at a local motel, saving them from an economic inconvenience. <br><br>As
the squad were planning routines and position throught the night, a
SWSPD369 car stopped nearby. An SWSPD officer, armed with a Body Blocker
armor and an illegal firearm. The officer explained that the area was
under SWSPDs protection, and wanted to know more about the supposed
quarantine. After a conversation with the SLA operatives, he was
informed that SWSPD369 were allowed to send medics to stay within the
quarantine area for 24h to tend to the civilians and possible outbreak.<br><br><br>Mexican Standoff:<br>Half
an hour after the talk with the officer, an armored jeep came on site. A
team of SWSPD369 officers in Body Blockers, tactical vests, some
grenades and carrying GA assault rifles. Two of them were carrying
medical kits, and wore a red cross on their shoulder pads. They crossed
the street and met Ecstasy and Bloodlust at the entrance. As SWSPD369
claimed they had all right to enter the area now, before the quarantine
was initiated (this was before 8pm), they were refused entree by the
members of Syndicate. Lust lied on the apartment blocks roof, with her
new FEN 30-30 Trueshot ready for action. The team of vigilantes
deflected the refusal and tried to calmly walk inn through the main
gates. Bloodlust stood in front of them and told them they were not
permitted entry. As their leader again ignored the refusal, the stormer
lightly tapped him on the shoulder with a Shock Glove, easily sending
him stunned to the ground as he tried to pass him.<br><br>Immediately
the vigilantes started pointing their automatic rifles at Ecstasy and
Bloodlust. Severely agitated, they were close to starting a firefight.
The stormer pointed a BLA Blitzer at back at them. Syndicate calmly told
them to remove themselves from the premises as armed gang members
entering the area was not part of the previous deal. SWSPD369 collected
their stunned team leader and threw threats against the SLA operatives.
They defensively withdrew to their jeep and hurried away. Afterwards,
the operatives were on edge, waiting for the gangs possible retaliation.<br><br>A
few hours later, at 7pm, loud classical music were heard playing from
the west. Lust scouted the area, spotting an armored APC approaching.
The APC stopped 20 meters from the apartment block, obviously the source
of the music. It was flanked by two SWSPD369 officers on bikes. The
smoke launchers on the armored transport spewed the area in blueish
smoke. The SLA operatives could hear the exit hatch slam open, and just
in the outskirt of the smoke, six armed troopers came rolling out in
perfect formation, striking poses with their guns. Through the middle of
them came a tall and more heavily armored and kilt-wearing figure.
Wearing blue and white colours, the armor was decorated with gilded
markings. Carrying a gilded MJL Power Claymore on his back, this was
obvious the gangs leader, MacGallager.<br><br><b>Diplomatic Speech:</b><br>MacGallager
stood proud in the rain, shining like a bright beacon of shimmering
hope. In other words, he was pretty much out of place at Mort City. He
injected himself with a drug, enabling him to speak in a loud, firm
voice. MacGallager declared his good and protective intention and care

to come speak with him. It was obvious he was appealing to the
surrounding civilians, appearing as a good guy to discourage the agents
attacking him in the open. Ecstasy answered his call from the rooftops
using a megaphone, trying to appear just as rightous as the frother.<br><br>Ecstasy
came down to meet with MacGallager. They both spoke calmly, and the
rain made it hard for onlookers to listen inn. George was close by with
his Ronker Roller to listen inn on the diplomatic meeting tough.
MacGallager informed Ecstasy that there was going to be an attack at
midnight by a soft company called Rover Incorporated. He wanted his
soldiers to valiantly protect the area against the onslaught. Ecstasy
assured the frother that he also wanted to protect the civilians, and
had the means and resources to do this.<br><br>After a few minutes of
conversations, MacGallager stepped away and spoke again in a loud voice.
He said that he had trust in the ebon Ecstasy, who had taken all the
civilians under his protective wing. The ebon had agreed to take full
responsibility for the health and safety for the people. After the
speech, MacGallager and his soldier returned to the APC and left the
area. Lust who had spotted three ECM protected snipers at the
surrounding buildings, pointing at her with laser pointers during the
meeting, withdrew as quietly as they had appeared. After the vigilantes
had left, Ecstasy admitted to George, who was still holding the camera,
that he had lied to the frother, tricking him into leaving the area.<br><br>&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Screams:&lt;br&gt;The
squad made the final preperations. Sin quickly set two shotgun traps
and a concussion grenade trap at the sewer entrance in the basement. He
also prepared one concussion grenade trap in each of the main passages
from west, just behind the locked gates. Sin drove around the block on
patrool with his civilian bike. Lust rigged her sniper position facing
west. Bloodlust placed himself in front of the main gates with the
Blitzer in in hand, and his new shotgun pistol in the other. George was
given a FEN 603 by Bloodlust, clutching it uneasy in one hand, Ronker
Roller in the other. Ecstasy readied himself in the basement, protecting
the sewer entrance alone. Ecstasy made a phone call to some of his
contacts, which did not help him much, as he had not aided in return,
yet. At midnight hour, Sin noticed several large civilian cars placing
themselves in the surrounding allys on his patrool. Then, the silence
whas broken by several loud, monstrous screams, ecchoing through the
area. As the sound of dozen feet came running from the nearby allys,
more than thirty carriens stormed the appartment block from all
sides.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;XP Reward:&lt;br&gt;Bloodlust: 1XP for the

Halla folkens. Nå er det hyttetur om ikke så forferdelig lenge. Jeg håpet på å få ledet noe SLA Industries om dere er med, en eller to av kveldene. Hyttetur og horror rollespill har gått hånd i hånd lenge i sksf, og jeg tenkte at muligheten var svært passende slik ting står til nå med dere. Hva sier dere? :chef:
